Web Developer with a passion for design and technology. Began my web experience early in high school by learning basic HTML to create a website for my punk rock band. Initially my interest was in graphical design. I made up posters, web banners, CD jackets, and t-shirt designs. Eventually, I discovered that those mediums needed to be translated to the web eventually. After a 4 year stint playing music for a traveling rock band, I found myself at the Art Institute of Orange County. When I finally learned the fundamentals of web design and development, I hit the ground running starting as an SEO Specialist with a development firm, learning the marketing and Google side of the web. After 6 months, I was offered a position as a Web Developer at an I.T. reselling company. In under 2 years, I was moved into an assistant management position and expanding my knowledge of development having to manage 180+ websites and updating their dated web platform by aiding in design, development, and implementation of a mobile responsive template. Eventually I was working with the data-infrastructure when we had to upgrade one of our servers.
I have a passion to continue to learn and keep on the forefront of web-based technologies as well as keeping up with trends of design. I strive to work hard and encourage those around me to do the same.
