Desktop Support Technician

Current Desktop Support Technician for XPO Logistics, helping to support the warehouse staff of a major clothing line based out of Spain. Interested in long term opportunities to learn and grow within an organization, joining their IT team and working in collaboration with others to contribute to the success of the company as a whole.

- Assist in the implementation/imaging and troubleshooting of Microsoft-based workstations used for employee picking/packing process on the warehouse floor.
- Troubleshoot/maintain both Zebra label and Ricoh laser printers.
- Troubleshoot/maintain Symbol infrared scanners and mobile computers.
- Diagnose connectivity issues at the workstations as well as at the IDF cabinets; working with Network Engineers to resolve problems with Cisco switches.
- Use InfraDesk to track and maintain help desk tickets throughout the day.
- Provide general technical support for XPO end users both on-site and remote.

- Assisted in the roll out of a new ticketing system based on the SalesForce platform; provided both
training to internal customer facing teams as well as QA to development.
- Provided training on both of AmerisourceBergen's proprietary systems, ABC PassPort™ and
IntelliOrder. Also trained on Symbol handleds, MC40 and MC1000.
- Worked with SAP CRM/ECC modules to retrieve relevant customer data at the direct request of
various customer support teams.
- Conducted research on new technology as requested in order to stay abreast of any new releases and
features of business operating systems and software utilized by the organization.
- Managed and resolved customer complaints; escalating to Manager(s) as necessary.

- Facilitated several weekend tile clinics, working with customers and associates alike, demonstrating
the basic concepts of tile laying.
- Trusted with Department Supervisory duties including making work-lists for department, follow-up
on product shipments, and training of new associates.
- Worked several inventories at home store as well as other stores in the district. This included
ensuring accurate counts of merchandise.
- Initiated and monitored flooring installation sales, ensuring world class customer service through the
entire process.
