Launching seasonal and private label activewear collections from scratch working directly

●   Creating seasonal line plans, sourcing/vetting new manufacturers (domestic & international),
and signing off on all PO's. Implemented new standard terms to include on all PO's
●   Creating and implementing detailed yearly design/production calendar and ensuring on time and accurate deliveries
●   Approved lab dips, strike offs, fabric selections, and PP samples
●   Providing seasonal design inspiration, mood boards, and color palettes

Design Director

Drove company sales from $100,000 to over $1 million in one year through the creation/launch of a successful, private label division, which gained 10 clients in 3-month time span
o  Carbon38, Soul Cycle, Peloton, Bloomingdales, Core Power Yoga, etc.
●   Managed E-Commerce store through Shopify including visuals, product descriptions, promotions,
3rd party app integrations, and overall site merchandising
●   Responsible for influencer/brand ambassador outreach/management as well as organized fashion
shows, pop up events, and sample sales
●   Worked directly under CEO, created seasonal line plans and SKUs for development and production.
●   Sourced manufacturing partners and negotiated costs to hit target margins.
●   Coordinated the sampling and production process from start to finish, working directly with the factories and outside vendors, while adhering to design calendar
●   Managed and mentored an internal team and ongoing freelancers
●   Cross functioned with marketing, sales, and social media
●   Created designs/CADS and complete tech packs in Illustrator & Excel.
●   Conducted fittings on live model, made notes, and adjusted tech packs for factory to revise


●   Created graphic designs and print ready files using Illustrator and Photoshop

Senior Design AND Development Manager

●   Developed and marketed 4 seasonal collections per year for wholesale and E-Commerce sales
●   Oversaw design process from concept through final production and managed a team of 5
employees (interns, freelance photographers, graphic designers, web designer)
●   Responsible for entire marketing/design process including: product development, tech packs,
sourcing fabrics, sketching, hands on working with sample makers/pattern makers, etc.
●   Coordinated fashion shows/pop-up events for new product launches such as Miami Swim Week
involving casting models, working with tradeshow to secure booth, shipping products, etc.

Designer AND Product Development Manager

●   Managed team of 6 employees and interns.
●   Oversaw design process from concept through final production while adhering to calendar
deadlines.
●   Responsible for warehouse and logistics of apparel and promo merchandise.
●   Worked with outside tour management to ensure shipment deadlines were met for concert tours.

Design Director Product Developer

●   Allocated production order fabric and issuing cut tickets in PLM software (AIMS)
●   Weekly meetings with the production team to present progress on cut tickets and address any
issues.
