Accomplished Regional HR and payroll manager with more than 15 years experience in for-profit and non-profit organizations in all aspects of business operations from: managing high volume stores and driving sales, managing budgets, payroll, leading recruitment, performance management, HR reporting, training, retention, benefits/compensation, implement new process and procedures, and labor/employee relations programs and investigations for over 500 employees. Extremely detailed and organized with payroll and HR process and procedures. Strong knowledge of federal employment laws including ADA, EEO, FLSA, and OSHA. •	Maintains frequent and effective communication with Chief People Officer and other managers to apprise on all critical activities, employee incidences, and status of all ongoing projects. 
•	Conducts, assists, and make suggestions with interviewing and background check processes for candidates.
•	Train all the regional managers on new processes and secures training documentation for all training conducted for the region’s employees and provides copies to Corporate HR.
•	Implements the regional office’s safety plan and responds to and documents emergencies or injuries involving employees, volunteers or students at the regional office or its sites. Follow up on workers’ compensation claims as requested.
•	Conducts new hire orientations and secures complete documentation for new hires including payroll related documentation.
•	Conducts exits and secures all termination-related documentation.
•	Attends to special employee issues—leaves of absence or ADA matters, as examples – as instructed.
•	Counsels individual employees within established THINK guidelines. 
•	Reviews policies and procedures with staff and managers as needed and answers questions.
•	Ensures all other HR documentation (for example, disciplinary notices) is provided to corporate HR in a timely fashion. 
•	Implements HR plans or management requirements related to the region and its sites.
•	Investigate and resolve all the employee relation issues and document the process. Investigate and report all harassment matters (observed, reported or suspected) immediately to HQ. 
•	Attends meetings, such as monthly regional meetings or quarterly HR managers meetings, and provides scheduled or as-requested reports and updates on deadline.
•	Maintains highest degree of confidentiality in student, staff and management matters.
