Product Developer

I am currently based in Huntington Beach, working as a Product Developer for TravisMathew. I work diligently with my cross functional partners to help create the most up to date, current products for our target customers.


Develop materials and trims, building and maintaining accurate BOMS, maintaining costs in accordance with financial objectives, communicating adjustments and corrections to overseas offices/suppliers, overseeing sampling (complete to commercialized product) and resolving any issues that may arise. Work closely with cross functional partners (design, merchandising, marketing)

•Support the execution of all product development activities required delivering manufactured ready products in line with Global Sourcing Strategies, innovation goals, cost, quality, safety and Terms of Engagement (TOE) requirements.
- Assist in coordinating complete product development packages
- Ensure that pre-production logs are accurate and bulk contracts are issued
- Maintain seasonal costing templates
- Take part in FTL (Finish Tolerance Limits) Approvals in Shade Room under D65 Daylight
- Track processes and monitor production deadlines
- Organize and manipulate large amounts of data using spreadsheet applications, and navigating through various interfaces
- Enter data into various systems and ensure the integrity of the information

•Assist Designer in producing various products from spats to pocket squares
•Assist Designer in cutting and sewing products
•Help maintain product booths and specific events and shows
•Create Hang Tags with Illustrator and Photoshop

Sales Representative

· Process membership sales, cancellations and freezes
          · Merchandise window displays and inventory control
          · Front Desk duties including handling multiple phone lines, customer requests and
              complaints, and appointment booking

Receptionist

· Merchandise products such as Timex watches, Levis and Dockers for major department
          stores, including Macy's and JC Penny's
       · Train store employees on brand knowledge
       · Communicate with corporate office on sales

Merchandiser

· Provide customer service and establish a strong client base to exceed sales goals
        · Handle payment (cash, checks, and charges) transactions
        · Maintained inventory control; processed weekly shipments
        · Re-merchandise sales floors and merchandise individual displays
        · Maintain weekly sales for bonus incentives
