Launched a business focused on consulting projects and international ventures in countries the South Pacific
*	Launched an Import/Export Initiative focused on importing American Cars into Australia and New Zealand. Sourced, ship, and supply the Australian and New Zealand dealers to increase their inventory of American Cars.

Solaris Paper is the American subsidiary of Asia Pulp and Paper, the third largest paper and pulp producer in the world. More specifically, Solaris Paper is an American towel and tissue manufacturer focused on the Retail Branded, Retail Private Label, and Away-from-Home markets.

My role at Solaris Paper was centered on working with the American CEO to help grow the company through mergers and acquisitions and through developing company strategy. Most of the time I worked directly with the American CEO, however I also helped Solaris's marketing and finance team develop detailed analysis and create strategic presentation for the company's owners and global leadership team. My work involved creating financial models, developing presentation, executing financial and market analysis, and developing strategic initiatives. My role allowed me to guide and help the American and global decision makers develop and drive company strategy. Below is detailed look at some of the projects that I have completed:

• Led the corporate analysis of a $347 million acquisition target. Created the financial model, developed synergy opportunities, provided due diligence, and guided our legal counsel.
• Created a critical benchmark report using public data and created operationally driven assumptions to drive US operational discussions with the global chairman and global executive staff.
• Led an innovation workshop to develop a roadmap to highlight competitive opportunities and create a long-term strategy. Included cross functional, production, product specific, market, and investment opportunities analysis.
• Created a $4.5 billion premium brand launch analysis, a detailed look at cost to launch a premium brand in the US.

Tylt Ventures is a venture capital and venture advisory group based in Santa Monica, California, which focuses on identifying, capitalizing, and building innovative, high growth companies.  Tylt Ventures is comprised of entrepreneurs and has a hands-on approach to working with founders.  Tylt Ventures believes in adding value, not simply adding capital. Tylt Ventures focuses on funding projects and companies that need seed stage and early series A funding.

My role at Tylt Ventures was analyzing prospective products and projects for investments. My distinct experience with structured finance, developing startups, and market analysis, gives me a unique ability to critique and analyze prospective deals.  When analyzing these deals, I pull from my expertise to qualify and forecast their potential to determine an investment decision.

Intern Analyst

Flowh is an internet platform that lets anyone discover, create, and share all the events that matter in just one place. Flowh is social media for calendars in the style of Twitter.  

My role at Flowh was to develop and implement a sales strategies to grow the client pipeline. I was instrumental in changing the company's overall strategy and the focus of our target customer. These two changes increased traction and provided leverage for the founder & president in fundraising discussion with Angels and Venture Capital firms. Below are some of my accomplishments at Flowh:

• Identified new potential markets and helped develop a corporate strategy to position the company for future success, including developing target markets, product direction and functionality, and strategic sales direction.

• Created and implemented a customer acquisition strategy that increased total unique views and grew client base.

• Created 3-year cash flow forecast model based on business operations to show feasible and realistic potential cash flows for potential investors.

Developed and implemented sales strategies for an event-based Internet start-up to grow client pipeline.
*	Identified new markets, developed a corporate strategy, grew client base by 1,000 users through creating and implementing a customer acquisition strategy.

Kompas is a strategy firm that shapes strategy for meaningful products, brands and experiences that customers desire, are loyal to and tell their friends about. Kompas Strategy uses a combination of consumer insight cultural research and in a “design thinking” process to inspire, develop, and guide strategy. Also, it crafts strategy that evokes desire and emotion and helps clients create deep relationships with customers. Kompas Strategy helps clients “bake” the strategy into the visual design, linguistic communications, and the sensory experience. bridge the gap between strategy and execution guiding consistent execution across all touches points. 

While at Kompas Strategy, I worked with a team of management consultants to develop an innovation roadmap for a medical device company. Our focus was on long-term product development and long-term trends within the medical device industry. Our team created 22 white paper scenario reports which provided our client with an understanding of future opportunities. Each white paper report tackled different industries like the future FDA trends  & regulations and the future use of wearable technology in the medical field.

• Wrote 6 detailed reports that forecast possible medical trends in next 10 years for medical device companies.  

• My reports were forecasts of the next 10 years in Wearable Technology and the Medical Field; FDA Trends & Regulations; Life Expectancy; Reducing Error & Increasing Safety in the Medical Field; Data Analytics & Algorithm based medicine; Healthcare Reform; & Hospital Cost Reduction 

Consultant

Managed and monitored a portfolio of derivative products worth over $500 million that brought in $14 million annually.
*	Created monthly secondary market cash report, which forecasted, analyzed, and tracked asset balances and cash flows from debt instruments and derivatives of over $1 billion.
*	Saved $2 million by guiding bank trustees, analyzing securitization pool cash flows, and increasing operational efficiency by transferring custodial duties of two $100 million pools.

Financial Analyst

Working at AIG SunAmerica from 2007 to 2011 built an extreme amount of character. In 2007, I began as Financial Analyst that was responsible for underwriting individual deals and analyzing, managing, collecting and reporting cash flows from our derivative products. After the market crashed in 2008 my role changed. After 2008, I became the jack-of-all-trades, where I served in the following roles: Corporate Liaison to AIG Corporate Accounting Group, Corporate Liaison to AIG Financial Products, Single Asset Trust Contact for KPMG Audit, Valuation and Pricing Contact for Gifford Fong & Associates, and Manager of the Secondary Market report all while maintaining my role as a Financial Analyst. Below are some of the highlights of my time at AIG SunAmerica Affordable Housing Partners:

Co-created monthly the secondary market cash report, which forecasted, analyzed, and tracked asset balances and cash flows from debt instruments and derivatives of over $1 billion for executives to review and AIG’s Financial Products division to forecast risk exposure. Received $14 million annually from the assets in this report.

Saved $2 million annually by transferring custodial duties of two $100 million pools.

Performed deal analysis, help structure, model and help sell 4 securitization pools valued at $500 million.  

Created complex Excel cash flow model for group of 10 bonds with par value of $21 million to forecast future cash flows and risk. 

Processed interest rate swap allocation on swaps of nearly $675 million to maintain their active status.

Led group of lawyers and bond trustees to restructure bonds to reflect impaired values. 

Performed downgrade valuation analysis on under performing assets to realign values for selling purposes or for further write-down.
