Senior Industrial Designer with extensive expertise in designing and developing consumer products in various markets. I bridge the gap between engineering and marketing to drive innovation by creating thoughtful solutions to problems by seeing hidden opportunities. I am always enthusiastic about expanding my knowledge and skill set by being in the studio and in the workshop. Freelance Design Consultant for clients to further their product development through concept sketching, brand strategy, packaging, manufacturability and cost analysis.

• Key Accomplishments

• Reconfigured existing CAD models by improving aesthetic design and prep for manufacturability/DFM.
• Conceptualized a series of Off-road vehicles for Yamaha.
• Used Solidworks to create an iPhone case with a Epi-pen holder.                      • Designed and developed using Solidworks to create audio electronic equipment that was on display at CES 2016.

Lead a team of 2 Industrial Design Interns responsible from brainstorm to creation. Work with marketing and cost engineering to ensure proposed items meet all tooling and R&D budgets.

• Responsible for SEGA’s Sonic, Nature Cat, Disney’s Miles from Tomorrowland and John Deere/Gear Force licensed toy lines.
• Strategize designs based on cost targets, material quality, legal requirements and branding guidelines.                                                                              	                    • Direct engineering teams in Asia with marketing team and licensors to meet deadlines.
• Manage projects from ideation, sample development, licensor review and          production. 
• Expanded rapid prototyping capabilities that lowered cost by 73% and saved time.

Product Designer

Led an Industrial Design Intern and a Lead fabricator that developed new products for clients. The only designer that developed and articulated project vision through consumer research, concept sketches, 3D modeling, brand development, product and user testing, packaging, sourcing and cost for manufacturing efforts.

Retail Shipment

Industrial Designer in a team of 8 that was responsible for designing and development of new outdoor products through concept development, brand identity and product aesthetics. Participated in new product development by using outdoor research, conceptualization, stylizing, color, graphic design, material application and manufacturing to various soft and hard goods product categories.

• Key Accomplishments

• Strengthened brand identity by assisting development of style guide for the                Battery Lighting products.
• Field-tested products in various environments and presented results to Company Executives. 
• Designed a product with challenging parameters in a tight schedule.
• Products made: Portable Stove/oven combo, CPX 6 CLT10 LED Lantern, DARE 2 person towable and playing cards.


Industrial Designer

As solo Industrial Designer, created concept designs for private prop and jet aircraft, cockpits, and cabin interiors. Generated designs of interior components for both production and full size mock-up. 


• Key Accomplishments

• Envisioned and developed the entire interior of the next generation Hawker 400 XPR through  sketching and Alias Modeling that was presented at NBAA in Orlando, FL. 	                                                                                                       • Created exterior graphic identity for King Air GTX.
