• Manage the production of casual and formal dresses for Ross Stores; with 52 deliveries per year at an average of 45 to 90 styles per delivery.
• Responsible for 85-90% of total production volume, including factory allocation, day to day communications, and coordinating and managing the production team to insure information is disseminated promptly and accurately.
• Work closely with sales, customer service, design, pattern makers, trim buyers, and fabric buyers to coordinate the purchase of piece goods and trims, scheduling of production, and overcoming any potential bottlenecks that may cause delays.
• Monitor deadlines on critical components that must be provided to our vendors to insure adequate time for development and production.

Production Manager

• Responsible for all overseas product development and production for branded lines and department stores such as Rocawear, Ecko, Fubu and Sears.
• Allocated production to appropriate factories based on product, target price, delivery, garment requirements, etc.
• Negotiated with factories to ensure prices were within margin parameters.
• Sourced additional factories to complement those in existing catalog.

• Monitored WIP reports to ensure various garment elements requiring approval were received within allotted timelines (including, but is not limited to, lab dips, fit samples, fabric, embroideries, and other important factors).
• Responsible for daily communication with customers via email, telephone and face to face meetings to ensure all work is meeting their requirements.
• Calculated and manipulated garment price based on desired margins.
• Forecasted garment costs to include all applicable charges, such as freight, duty, finance, as well as any other important elements as needed by customer specific requirements

• Responsible for securing price and delivery with various factories as well as assigning programs to factories that were able to meet requirements and deadlines.
• Reviewed Tech Packs to ensure designs are feasible from a production standpoint and offered alternatives as necessary.
• Monitored WIP reports, making necessary adjustments as needed
