Took time from february to april in 2013 to take a train all across america especially spending time in seattle and austin.

Self taught how to play the guitar bass drums and various other experimental and homemade instruments. i have been apart of experimental avant garde bands.

Freelance Graphic Design

I am constantly creating, be it visual, audio, or written. I am available for either full-time or freelance positions. 

I also have experience with warehouse work processing incoming and out going shipments.  

I am able to pay for my own relocation for full-time work.   


Selected clients include: 

Obitus Gothenburg, Sweden
Designed the packaging for their album ‘The March of the Drones’ released by the label Eerie Art Records. This included a twenty eight page booklet with all the lyrics. Designed the image used on the back of the hoodie in alignment with design themes in the booklet. Designed the album cover and created a promotional video for their album ‘Slaves of the Vast Machine’ released by the label Hypnotic Dirge Records.

Pins & Cathedral Bells Zine Granite Falls, North Carolina
Designed the layouts for issues two and three, each of which was fifty six pages. Illustrated multiple stories and essays with own photography and images. 

Crooked Necks Abingdon, Virginia
Shot promotional photos of the band. Filmed and edited a music video for them. Shot during the course of three days with one camera.

Toil Abingdon, Virginia
Filmed various insects in the woods of Virginia, looking at the movement and strife of those insects in their environment. This culminated in the final struggle between a cicada and cicada killer wasp.

Brobdingnagian Fairfax, Virginia
Edited together a music video for their first album ‘Demo 2007’. Utilized old archive footage to have a Dadaism found art feel. Shot promotional photos for the band with the intent of never showing their faces.

Songs of Liberation Los Angels, California
Edited together footage shot by Scott van Dort of Songs of Liberation to create an abstract but somewhat narrative series of videos to which he composed original music.

Don’t Feed the Trolls New Jersey
Created promotional postcards to be distributed at conventions. I used original green and black computer screen style visuals, iconography, and fonts to illustrate the outdated views. I also redesigned the website to align with this visual style.

Borders Fairfax, Virginia
Designed flyers and handouts for local events and book signings at the Fairfax store.

I managed day-to-day operations of the in-store Cafe, brought operations up to health code, set high quality standards, improved CSAT and secret shop scores, and increased sales. My Cafe often ranked in the top three stores for sales and promotions in the district/region and I developed an innovative literature themed menu for the store. I regularly placed food and supply orders in an accurate and timely manner. I held keys and codes for the store and acted as Manager On Duty. I was selected to assist with training and setup of a new store in the district. I am licensed as a Food Manager in Northern Virginia through 2024.

I performed day-to-day sales associate duties and provided exceptional customer service.

Bookseller

I facilitated
the planning and opening of the brand new concept store, including outlining store goals, conducting job fairs, interviewing candidates, and building and training a team of associates. I built the displays and set the floor inventory to company standards and received in full inventory in loads of up to 50 pallets a day, and operated the forklift (licensed through 2020). I designed the receiving processes and stock room layout for ongoing efficiency and ease of bookseller access to backstocked product. In addition to the day-to-day duties of Receiving Manager, I held keys and codes to the store, frequently acted as the Manager On Duty for the whole store including the full service restaurant and sales floor.

Receiving Manager

I managed receiving for a high volume mall store during the holiday season while the existing Receiving Manager was out on a leave of absence. While in this role, I managed a team of associates with shipments of up to 500 boxes a day, updated and improved practices and procedures, and assisted with large events such as author book signings.

Receiving Manager (Temporary Role)

As receiver I received in and merchandised items, processed outbound shipments, built bikes for display and sale, and trained new hires on merchandising in the team sports department.

Operations and Bike Building

Full time receiver responsible for processing incoming and outgoing product. Increased productivity of department while taking on the role of two receiving positions. Provided exceptional customer service, cashiered and assisted in the cafe.

Full Time Receiver

I quickly advanced from a part-time seasonal associate to full time Lead of three departments to Supervisor. As Supervisor I managed inventory, lead the inventory crew, and acted as Manager On Duty including opening and closing the store.
