Responsible for managing Sales & Operations activities for California Branch. Directed & coordinated Staffing, Training, Employee Performance, Inventory Control, Purchasing, Customer Service & Transportation for Wholesale Distribution of steel wire rope and related products to resellers and industrial & commercial consumers.  
•	Tasked with raising Sales Profitability from 30% to 35%.  After close analysis of past pricing structures I implemented new pricing, negotiated with customers, and was able to increase monthly profitability from 38% to 43%. Recorded best annual net profit in branch history.
•	Co-Authored a Model Stock Program to reduce slow moving inventory and maintain the proper inventory levels and reorder points of fast moving stock.  The program also included product simplification and standardization methods that eliminated duplications and unprofitable items

Branch Manager

Responsible for managing operations and support functions to process and sort customer's mail that will be given to the USPS for delivery.  Maintained alignment with Financial, Customer and Internal Business Processes.  Provided team management and development to ensure the execution of an efficient and profitable facility. Understood Mail Piece Quality Control (USPS) Specifications, Security Threat Assessment Certification and Regulations along with Supply Chain & Logistics. I managed a team of eight Supervisors that worked with a team of 300 temporary employees.  The budget for this 103K square foot facility was $40M with revenue of $57M.

•	Devised a staffing plan defining temp workforce headcount requirements corresponding to volume of mail received from customers, establishment of start times, shift spans and weekly tracking to assure no overtime is incurred. This resulted in improved communications and partnership between Temp Agency and UPS and produced cost control that increased revenue to the daily bottom line.
•	Established team building initiatives with Supervisors including formation of an Intelligence Alliance where each member would recognize and appreciate each other’s strengths and skills. This resulted in reduction in labor hours, reduced cost per piece, improved shift down time, improved productivity and a new sense of pride in their efforts.

Operations Manafer

Responsible for management of all facets of aftermarket product support at the Colton, California, facility. Managed Service, Parts, Warehouse, Production and Administrative Staff.  Managed Production Department that manufactured replacement Concrete Mixer Drums and coordinated all facility maintenance.  Managed customer concerns related to accounting, parts sourcing and service requirements, Promoted new parts sales for parts manufactured by McNeilus for other OEM’s, Sales reporting and trend projecting.  Supervised a staff of 25 full time employees and 25 Temporary Production Staff members.

•	Re-organized Production Department including creation of Production Supervisors position, re-alignment of Service Managers job and establishment of team building initiatives in order to reduce inter-departmental conflict and develop better cohesion around service and product quality. This led to improved quality and customer service while reducing cost and accelerating monthly revenue.
•	Conceived and negotiated a new shipping charges agreement with key customer to replace a dated verbal agreement that specified no charges for any shipping fees of parts orders-conditions not offered to other customers. This resulted in customer concession to new plan leading to sales increase of 20% each month.
•	Directed cost and inventory controls including establishing min/max inventory levels on all consumable supplies, directing vendor to buy back all unnecessary supplies and establishing strict order approval process designed to control spending. This resulted in $300K savings from the previous year’s supply budget and $75K savings in loss prevention of company’s assets.
