Hello. I am currently a  journalism major at Cal State  University Northridge who is a  skateboarding enthusiast.  While my passion is for  skateboarding I appreciate all  other sports and athletes. I  hope to combine my passion  and hard work ethic to make it  in the industry that I love.

As a journalist, I've used the means of freelancing as an option to explore some of my other passions outside of sports. Through freelance writing, I've been able to cover a number of things, including various entertainment events, music and travel. An article I wrote covering Paul McCartney's final concert at Candlestick Park earned me a Peninsula Press award, and my travel writing was featured on the notable travel blog Roads & Kingdoms.

Freelance Writer

I was the main beat writer/ sports journalist tasked with covering the San Francisco 49ers for the website SFBay.Ca. During my years of experience covering the NFL, I gained season-credentialed access to the team, covering all home games, practices and other weekly media sessions. My primary duties were providing weekly game recaps, features on the team, listicles and general news updates. 

Sports Writer/Editor 

As a sponsorship marketing volunteer for the Copa America Centenario tournament, I worked with the primary marketing company for the tournament, SUM marketing. I acted as a liaison between the tournament and major corporate sponsors, such as Coke, Ford and AnBev. My other goals were to make sure that all sponsorship signage and responsibilities were met in and around the stadium to the satisfaction of the sponsors.
