I have over eight years of experience in Apparel Manufacturing. I graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles with a degree in Merchandise Product Development. After graduating from FIDM, I began working for an Import company as an Assistant Product Developer. I gained experience with working with oversea vendors, quality control, shipping, creating purchase orders, and pre-production sampling. I moved to American Apparel shortly after, gaining experience with screen printing, working with domestic vendors, tech pack preparation, and apparel manufacturing. As a Production Sewing Coordinator at American Apparel I gained experience in full circle apparel manufacturing. I oversaw all finished goods from the cutting floor to the sewing floor making sure to complete production by the given ETA. As the Bill of Materials and Apparel Costing Manager I oversaw all Bill of Materials that were inputted into our Microsoft Dynamics production program. I worked closely with the fabric, trim, cutting, sewing, and pre-production departments to ensure that all of the bill of materials and manufacturing cost are accurate and correct. I spent the last five years in costing positions. I am currently working as a Costing Manager in Apparel for the Basketball department at Adidas Group in Portland Oregon.
