Student-Athlete Marketing Manager/Events

Below is a summary that will help express my sincere interest in working in the action sports industry!

My current role at NCSA has allowed me to manage some of the largest events in the sports industry. Having worked on the Public Relations team at Vans footwear, particularly with the team managers and Marketing Directors, I gained insight and knowledge into the action sports industry.  My internship with NBC/Universal Sports Network allowed me to develop guerilla-marketing tactics for some of the world’s greatest Olympic athletes. And, my tenure as an intern with Tuff-Gong Worldwide prepared me in dealing with stressful situations with little time to react in the entertainment industry. I pride myself on my ability to work hard and always try to be someone likes to have around.

 I will bring strength and energy to any team I am on. All the while, my experience working in the sports and entertainment industry has built a foundation of confidence! I look forward to connecting with you!

•	Developed and initiated individual marketing plans for Student Athletes pursuing college athletics
•	Led a group on the Innovation Team to create and implement new strategies from the development team through marketing and sales techniques
•	Modernized a new POS feature while leading others through the process. 
•	Managed a CRM and Database of over 50,000 college coaches.
•	Used investigative and analytical strategies to promote clients through various social media platforms.


•	Assisted the development, marketing strategy, launch, and press coverage for Vans’ LXVI Category
•	Create and maintain relationships with magazine editors, bloggers and various magazines and websites for product promotion.
•	Assisted all media relations for the Vans US Open of Surfing including events.
•	Managed all seeding and sample sets for consumer marketing. 


Public Relations Intern

•	Developed and led a Guerilla Marketing campaign for the Unites States Rugby 7’s tournament grossing 7 Million Dollars
•	Managed and produced a Promotional Marketing campaign for various sanctioning bodies with USA Sports, specifically the US Olympic Team. 
•	Copywriting for the networks e-mail newsletter 
•	Assisted with Social Media: Facebook, Twitter, (Etc.)
•	Tracked and dispersed inventory of premiums


Marketing Intern

•	Managed and organized guest lists for Ziggy Marley’s summer tour
•	Merchandise inventory and organization of tour duties
•	Developed and distributed promotional packs for various business, groups, and radio stations
•	Reviewed and edited contractual obligations between artist and venue
•	Handled clerical work
