Designer/Developer

* Led the development of footwear for the U.S. military after extensive field research. Created the design used for the $17.3 million contract with the Department of Defense used to supply American-made athletic shoes to U.S. military personnel entering basic training.
* Designed a wide range of footwear, including: walking, outdoor, running, military, and Gore-Tex and DESMA.
* Led teams of designers in the creation of performance footwear: innovating concepts, digital and 3-D internal/external representations and technical packages.
* Managed the "NBx Performance Running" design team (June 2006-Nov. 2008)

* Conducted and applied extensive design research through field interviews of athletes, retailers, manufacturers, internet and exhibitions of design to ensure the product would be both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
* Integrated creative direction with strategic marketing by working with product management teams to develop a joint vision for overall look, functionality, personality, colors, material and retail aspects of footwear.
* Ensured smooth Integration of NB technologies and branding after New Balance acquired the OTB brand in January 2010.
* Integrated product and apparel color stories in the running SBU as team manager.
