while my formal education was based in the visual arts and graphic design, my career path has led me into the world of retail. I apply many of the principals of design and aesthetics I studied to the retail surroundings I find myself in, much like the ancient art of alchemy. alchemists would try to take elements of the natural world and create something of higher form. alchemy is the pursuit of the pure, creating something better, transforming the old into new.
