Hello, my name is Joél Urteaga and I am a Senior Graphic Designer / Illustrator working in Southern California. I specialize in branding, licensing, packaging, apparel/product graphics, hand-lettering & illustration. Designed graphics and dielines for all of the PTX consumer goods which include: bikes, skateboards, inline skates, scooters and water sports. Worked on creating new and innovative product development. Designed licensed products for major companies such as: Mattel, Hasbro, Fisher Price, Little Tikes, Warner Bros. & MGAE. Shot Digital Photography for eCommerce websites & photo shoots. Worked with Licensor style guides to insure brand identity.

Senior Graphic Designer

Designed graphics and dielines for multiple brands such as Revlon, Sensationail, Bio-Oil, Nailene & TRIM. Worked on branding/identity on new product lines. Created large scale graphics for trade shows and instore graphics. Shot digital photography in photo studio. Pre-press production & making files print ready for print factories domestic & overseas. Contributed to the growth of the company by making adjustments to existing packaging to save costs & issues.

Graphic Designer / Production Artist

Designed and illustrated for many television networks and global brands such as UFC Europe, Showtime, HBO, FX, Bravo, Music Today, NBC, CBS & Discovery Channel. Worked with all forms of: Print, Illustration, Apparel, Product Developement & web to contribute to the growth of sales for network’s ecommerce site.
