In this role, I led a content team for Intrax, a globally-oriented company providing a lifetime of high-quality educational, work and volunteer programs that connect people and cultures. Intrax has operations in more than 100 countries worldwide and offers diverse educational and cultural programs including: high school exchange, international au pairs, language classes, volunteer opportunities, leadership programs, and work and internship placements. Director, Content Marketing

Tahoe Donner is America's third largest homeowner's association. Located in Truckee, California, the association manages a wide range of recreational facilities including a downhill ski area, cross country ski center, tubing park, two restaurants, golf course, tennis center, beach club / marina, fitness center / spa / pool complex, equestrian center and campground. Some of these amenities are available to the 25,000 members of Tahoe Donner exclusively, while others are also open to the general public.

When I joined Tahoe Donner in this newly-created position, marketing was handled in a decentralized, unorganized manner. When I left, the staff and infrastructure was in place for a centralized, dynamic, focused marketing effort. The organization's outdated visual identity was tightened up greatly with the creation of a brand standards manual. Everything from marketing collateral to signage, uniforms and stationery was updated with one clear identity and message. We redesigned the monthly magazine and made the content more interesting and visually appealing. In my last year at the association, we launched a new web site with a new content strategy which resulted in a 100% increase in unique visits. Other metrics such as time spent on site, number of pages visited and bounce rate all improved dramatically, as well. Tied in with this effort was a new approach to email marketing which raised open rates from around 15% to consistently between 40-60% - dramatically above industry standards. I found many ways to raise Tahoe Donner's profile with limited resources.

From 2010 to 2011, Tahoe Donner saw member utilization of amenities increase 18% and the following increases in revenue at public amenities:

Director of Sales & Marketing

Windham is a major year-round destination for the metro New York market. I oversaw a staff of up to 15 (varied seasonally) in marketing, communications, special events and the Information Center.

•	Increased skier visits, yield and overall revenue for resort.
•	Created and cultivated new revenue streams while reviving mature products.
•	Worked with all departments to develop products and pricing, utilizing trend analysis and competitive reports.
•	Wrote $1.4 million marketing plan and budget, with clear action items and follow-up.
•	Rebranded resort with a more dynamic visual identity that better communicated the company’s core strengths.
•	Directed the efforts of several vendors to create all resort collateral, from brochures to web site and signage.

Stowe is one of the world's best-known ski resorts and an iconic brand, with year-round operations in outdoor recreation, lodging, dining and special events.

•	Engaged media (ranging from the local newspaper to the New York Times) to generate positive coverage of resort, including its $400 million development, Spruce Peak at Stowe.
•	Conceptualized, created and supervised creation of content, design and functionality of three web sites.
•	Managed electronic marketing for resort, including email campaigns, online advertising and e-commerce.
•	Supervised interactive marketing team, special events coordinator, snow reporter, various vendors and college interns.
•	Wrote promotional copy for advertisements, brochures, news releases and electronic marketing materials.
•	Created budget for all annual communications projects (internal and external). Executed and evaluated results.
•	Determined photographic needs of the resort, directed photo shoots and managed digital image library.
•	Built digital video capabilities for web and other promotional applications (such as staff training).
•	Managed resort’s crisis communications.

Communications Manager

Comprising seven undergraduate schools, an honors college, a graduate college, and a college of medicine. The Division of Continuing Education offers certificate programs, a post-bac pre-medical series, credit courses for both degree and non-degree seeking students, and specialized training programs for businesses. Courses are presented in classroom, online, and/or interactive television formats.
•	Identified potential audiences for courses and programs.
•	Collaborated with curriculum developers, program managers and center directors to collect and analyze marketing data, and recommend the most effective and efficient way to market specific courses and programs.
