My career goals are to become a sourcing and production manager focused on sustainable materials and ethical apparel supply chains while also promoting healthy and profitable businesses. 
I am currently seeking entry-level employment in apparel or textile production to gain 'hands on' experience. I am hard working and thrive in fast paced environment.

Sustainable Cotton Supply Chain Research in South Africa                                                                                                                                
Collected data on environmental and social management practices at each stage of the supply chain from farm to retail. Identified sustainable practices and made recommendations for future practices that will further support developing sustainable apparel supply chains in South Africa.

Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC), Brand Adoption Working Group
Completed training on the Higg Index 1.0, an environmental assessment tool designed for apparel industry.
Developed training materials to be used by apparel development and design teams for the purpose of incorporating sustainable practices into their products.
I have conducted several trainings and lectures on the SAC and Higg Index at the University of Delaware.

Built a small business from the ground up; averaging sales of $250,000 annually with a staff of 5 employees.
