Independent Wholesale Sales Manager - Yoga

My sales career has been one that has allowed me to wear several different hats and act as a generalist in all facets of the sales team and environment.  With over 10 years of experience, starting in Corporate Operations, Regional Management, Account Management, and Sales Management roles, I feel very able and equipped to both build long lasting relationships with existing and new team members and customers.  As well as be an active brand representative to inspire accounts to elevate their assortments!

Independently represent the Nomadix brand to Yoga studios in the US.
Develop and present seasonal assortments for named and prospective accounts.
Work through account questions, concerns.
Manage and maintain relationships with accounts.
Research accounts, identify potential opportunities and generate interest.
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails.
Demonstrate an understanding of the Nomadix product features and benefits.

Work cross functionally with VP of North America and Sales Team.
Develop and present seasonal assortments for named accounts.
Work through account questions, concerns and manage conversations on pricing and markdowns.
Research accounts, identify potential opportunities and generate interest.
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails.
Demonstrate an understanding of the practice of yoga and the Manduka product line and translate that
into an understanding of customer needs and requirements.
Exceed quarterly KPI goals.

Account Manager

Manage and buy for 3 CPY studio’s in Central California.
Proficient in Mind Body Online studio software.
Build, maintain, and manage relationships with brand reps.
Merchandise retail space in three studios to support heavy investments and current trends.
Stay current with trends and up and coming yoga brands to build assortment.
Manually count and report physical inventory on a monthly basis.
Report on retail business results to studio owners and managers on a monthly basis.
Receive, create purchase orders, tag, sensor, hang, and merchandise all product entering into the studio
monthly.
Manage retail social media page.
Work in partnership with studio owners, managers and teachers on a daily basis.

Retail Buyer & Manager

Manage a business consisting of 7 stores, 2 showrooms & 1 Outlet.
Practice and foster an environment of real conversation, straight talk, and coaching in the moment.
Train and coach managers on all aspects of running a business to be successful in their role.
Work cross functionally with a team of 5 partners who offer expertise in specific pillars of the business.
Lead cross functional team in executing regional and global community and brand experiences.
Participate in executing visual floor set’s weekly and monthly.
Manage all aspects of stores inventory to optimize high margin sell-through at all stores.
Acquire and deepen relationships with current ambassadors and key influencers in the market.
Assess, create, and execute action plans for priority stores/markets.
Develop, execute and report on annual store experience strategic initiatives.
Actively involved and proactive in managing regional real estate portfolio, include store real estate
selection and upkeep of current stores.
Partner with strategic sales to grow brand awareness/brand sentiment in markets with high level of
capacity, for future store/showroom openings.


Regional Manager

Manage a business consisting of 12 stores, 100 employees, and annual revenue of $17M.
Delivered highest district increase over LY and plan for FY 2013 (+26/+16).
Delivered highest decrease to goal in payroll expense for FY 2013 (-.30%).
Delivered highest decreases to goal in shrink for FY 2013 (-.20%).
Recognized by CEO for success in executing exceptional store experience visits in the Colorado market,
particularly pleased with our visual merchandising and display execution.
Recognized by CEO for detailed, enthusiastic, high energy, and informative communications.
Created streamlined store “typical week”.
Analyze, deliver and speak to weekly district recaps; including WTD/MTD business results and product
performance as compared to previous week, previous year and heavy investments.
Participate on weekly allocations calls, in addition to individual partnership with specific allocators to
create product movement to impact business.
Executed seasonal visual displays, fixture installations, merchandising stories, and responsible for overall
ambiance of all 12 stores.

Retail District manager

Managed a business consisting of 180 employees and annual revenue exceeding $20M.
Created and managed the entire opening process of all existing inline retail stores for Converse Inc,
including but not limited to recruiting, hiring, training, store lay out, visual merchandising, and in-store
experience.
Partnered with merchandising, planning and visual teams on product assortments, consumer feedback
and local market trends.
Returned positive EBIT for highest volume Converse retail store after being open less than 1 year as well
as continuing the trend for 11 out of 12 months of fiscal year 12.
Partnered with management team on creating fiscal year strategies to drive business and team results.
Well versed on business reporting through monthly sales and payroll splits, Time Track, inventory &
product reports, and P&L statements.
A leader in the development, staffing and managing of the Converse Ink Bar customization experience.
Lead on “Project Revolver” in partnership with consulting company IDEO.
Created organizational charts for volume S through XL inline retail stores.
Created and rolled out all inline retail coaching for excellent yearly objectives and SMART goals.
