Sr Buyer / Brand Manager - Bedford Fair 

Seasoned merchandising professional with proven track record,progressive responsibilities and achievements across multiple channels from e-commerce,direct mail,catalog,TV Home shopping,brick and mortar retail, buying agency operations to wholesale, seeks opportunity in merchandising in footwear/apparel industry.

Recruited as the Sr Product Manager in footwear for all catalog titles at Blair. Tasked to increase footwear assortment and developed a stand alone business. 
Addressed inventory issue, increased footwear turnover from 0.9 to 2.2. Reduced mark down, increase gross margin.
Developed seasonal stand alone footwear catalogs. Introduced seasonal appropriate footwear assortment. 
Worked closely with marketing and creative to leverage vendor assets and co-op plans
Took on a new role in August as Sr Product Manager / Brand Manager for Bedford Fair catalog, the faster growing fashion brand at Blair.
Responsible for full merchandising/line building function for Bedford from seasonal concepts, paginations, category assignments, covers and back cover selection to apparel line building/ product development. 
Train and mentor assistants and supports. 


Responsible for seasonal go-to market strategy and product assortment for EU, South America, Canada, Japan, India
Develop regional specific merchandising plan to maximize sales potentials. 
Act as the key liaison between product development , allocation, production and international sales teams
Evaluate, refine and develop processes to increase speed to market while reducing operating costs.
Manage and maximize SKU productivity.
Present product lines at sales meetings, customer pre-lines and buy meetings.
Train and mentor merchandisers and support team in their career paths
