Chemical Company Squad Leader, Team Leader, Assistant Platoon Sergeant

I have been in the sports industry now for 5 years. I have experience in the snow industry as well as downhill mountain biking. I have been in the military for 16 years now and have just four more years till retirement. I will be a huge accomplishment to be able to say that before I turned 40 I retired from one profession. I have also been an Event Coordinator for a major ski resort in Colorado and I have all of the guest service and people skills required and sought after to perform various jobs and roles.

My goal here is to continue my sports industry career and search for something more permanent where my skills can grow and I can achieve another profession to retire from later in life.

Training and Counseling of assigned Soldiers. Held accountable for military equipment. Responsible for maintaining all assigned equipment and Soldiers. Perform all leadership duties and responsibilities when Platoon Sergeant is not present. Responsible for all movement orders and convoy procedures while deployed. Four tours to the Middle East during several operations.

Attraction Attendant: Opened and closed attraction safely and in a timely manner. High guest interaction. Followed all safety guidelines for operational procedures for assigned attraction.

Sales Associate: Worked for Curl in Downtown Disney still under Walt Disney World. High guest interaction. Advising all customers on several brands and the differences and similarities of each and every product. Worked with several brands to include GoPro, SPY, Oakley, Hurley, Quicksilver, O'Neill.

Attractions Attendant/Sales Associate

Coordinated all weekly events as well as major monthly events. Worked with resort event department on several events to include the Colorado Freeride Festival. Worked with several companies to produce product for giveaways at several major events in The Village. Created new events for the resort guests and found new entertainment to perform during events.

Event Coordinator

Certified to teach all levels of snowboarding and all age groups. Taught private lessons and created a client base that always returned for me business at the resort. Met with several reps in the snow industry during the SIA show to test out product and also give my feedback on their products. all clients that I taught saw an improvement on their riding skills during all lessons.

Certified Snowboard Instructor

First year I was a crew member and operated the lifts safely and according to all operational procedures. Opened and closed assigned lifts properly and without problems. High guest interaction. 

Second year I became a crew leader and responsible for the safe operation of assigned lifts and leadership over all members on my team.
