I am an energized Brock University Sports Management major eager  to contribute my skills and abilities to the  action sport industry. Given my  knowledge, past experiences  and desire to pursue a career  based around sports, I believe  that I will be a valuable  addition to your team.

Develop a schedule of American and Canadian action sports and entertainment events for the
“Almost Somebody Tour” to create brand recognition and loyalty among customers.
Activate accounts with event directors where operational plans are developed and
implemented to involve recognized brand endorsers, interact with consumers and positively
promote the brand to all in attendance.
Assist in recruiting athletes and entertainers to represent and endorse the PSD brand.
Handle and manage warehouse duties that include filling and sending orders, quality control
and packaging design, to ensure product reaches the customers in a timely and professional
fashion.

Marketing and Event Coordinator Intern

Manage, update and oversee marketing and public relations accounts, including press
releases, media outlets, online newsletters and product features for athletes and clients to
enhance their business and career opportunities.
Attend and work alongside account directors at major events and expo’s to ensure clients are
satisfied and manage athletes daily needs, making any necessary improvements or changes
when needed.
Develop and deliver informative press releases of client’s new products and/or event followups
to educate the public and garner consumer support.

Marketing and Public Relations Intern

Managed, organized and convened summer sport leagues and events within the City of Orillia
working directly with local sport participants, monitoring and allocating budgets and overseeing league development.
Hosted and directed Provincial baseball tournaments to ensure visitors had a positive and
inviting experience, while playing at and enjoying Orillia’s top-notch baseball venues.
Scouted and monitored league games to ensure fair and ethical play was being practiced
among all teams evenly, making changes where necessary.
Handled conflict between concerned coaches and/or parents to provide the best possible
outcome for everyone involved.
Portrayed a professional image to ensure that I respect and promoted the City of Orillia and all
it offered.

Summer Sport Coordinator

Designed and prepared course, while following and maintaining tight deadlines.
Created a safe and fun experience for runners by continuously supervising and maintaining
course obstacles.
Managed event volunteers by providing them with tasks and answered any questions that they
had.

Course Supervisor/Builder

Promoted the Power Boating Canada brand by attending boat shows and initiating
conversation with potential customers.
Provided information and magazines to boaters about up-coming events.
Developed strong promotional skills through communicating clearly with clients and listening to what they had to say.
