Marketing Associate

Directed all aspects of marketing communications for the B2B enterprise and the corporate brand as well as the B2C launch of the direct to consumer brand of software products and mobiles apps. Sr. Marketing Manager

Responsible for all aspects of the international trade show and event calendar to include recommending, planning, budgeting and implementation of 8 trade shows and 8 events annually.  Managed the design and layout that encompassed everything from electrical/internet layout, to demo design and the visitor flow in the booth.  Selected and managed all vendors in the US and internationally.  Created the trade show strategy, schedule and budgets for the annual schedule.  Implemented public relations outreach for effective coverage of product launches at each event. Effectively communicated the brand messaging and look and feel at each event.  Captured sales leads at each event.  Managed the design and build of two new booth properties.  One in the US with a twin property in Europe.  Negotiated final price of each property to reduce the cost by $80k for each property.

Trade Show and Event Manager

Worked closely with sales and marketing departments to manage and implement trade shows worldwide.  This included creating and managing budgets, booth property and logistics, set-up/tear-down. Pre and post show ROI/ROO metrics and reporting indicating what went well and what improvements should be made.  Managed large product launch events, managed vendors, budgets, invitation and response process and lead retrieval and follow-up programs. Determine which shows and events the company will participate in.  Plan and execute company participate.  Create measurement tools to evaluate ROI and ROO of participation in each event. Trade Show and Events Manager

Recommended and managed participation in international events and trade shows.  Developed strategies and was responsible for overall effectiveness of participation in recommended events.  Worked closely with functional groups within the company to insure all business unit goals were being accomplished to include an increase in sales leads.  Worked closely with product tram on the product launch of DivX 6 product.

Conference and Events Manager

Coordinated and managed the implementation of trade shows, special events and channel partner promotional programs.  Worked closely with our distribution and retail to create spiff programs resulting in a sales increase of 30%-40% during each incentive period.  Created product launch plans to effectively introduce new products to staff, the sales team and customers.  Interfaced regularly with the PR agency for product launches and partner press releases.  Managed a staff of three full-time trainers that traveled around to our partners and trained their staff on the products.  Created training materials and training kits.  Training materials included an online module to train teams that we were not able to get to or for more remote customers.  Developed in-store display program with an overwhelming response rate of 70% of the channel partners ordering the displays for their outlets.

Channel Marketing Manager & Event Manager

Managed the budget, staffing and training of the customer service staff.  Quickly grew a top performing team from 2 staff to 8 staff members to handle a 500% call volume increase ignited by a highly successful product launch.  Developed processes and procedures, recommended staff requirements and created training materials and reference binders.  Handled escalated customer issues.  Prevented an estimated $1 million in additional expenses and halted the customer complaints by identifying, tracking and reporting a quality issue with the new product in order to quarantine 250,000 defective units.  Reviewed and recommended trade show participation and managed all aspects to insure marketing and brand messaging and objectives were properly conveyed.
