Product development and sourcing consultant

A creative, collaborative and detail-oriented consumer product sourcing and development specialist. ?	Designed, developed and manufactured six in-line styles in >1 year for American Giant built on an entirely USA-based supply chain.

?	Achieved 20% topline growth for a category representing 50% of Mission Workshop’s revenue by bringing to market four new top-selling designs in >1 year.  

?	Providing materials testing, sourcing, and apparel development services for Seismic Holdings, a startup that is pioneering the integration of robotics with apparel. 



Responsible for product line planning and merchandising, directed the product design and prototyping process, and managed production for the companies Bags and Accessories category accounting for 60% of revenue. Responsible for meeting category revenue and margin goals as well as the R&D budget. Negotiated with overseas vendors on sourcing, costing, and procurement strategies. 

?	Grew overall category revenue 10%, boosted gross margin 5%, and reduced average days in inventory by initiating new product introductions, eliminating under-performing SKUs, and implementing an improved production calendar. This effort more than doubled the brand’s presence in major retail partners like REI and improved e-comm sales.

?	Led a three person team that brought 25 new products to market.


Product Development and Sourcing Manager

Managed the prototyping process and material sourcing for new product introductions in the apparel and accessories division. Collaborated with Design to create technical specification packages. Developed and managed project GTM calendars to ensure on-time delivery of product to market. Assisted with managing overseas vendor contracts, global quality assurance standards and regional compliance standards.

?	Drove a reduction in product COGs by more than 5% on a line with approximately 5M in cost. Established KPI’s and vendor score cards which revealed the need to re-source multiple suppliers; integral to selecting 1/3 of new vendor partners. 



Product Developer, Apperal and Accessories

Managed multiple Apple accessory product categories. Created product roadmaps and requirement documentation by collaborating with internal and external sales, marketing and research teams. Created and oversaw GTM calendars and worked cross-functionally with Design, Development, Sales and Operations to manage the prototyping process and coordinate new product introductions into sales channels. Created and managed R&D tooling and sample procurement budgets.

?	Enabled Incase to retain its prominent position within the Apple retail space by collaborating with market research specialists to develop and write roadmaps for innovative new products. 

?	Diversified product assortment by spearheading the creation of a photography accessories category to create a unique product line that is still selling, and which contributed 5-10% in incremental revenue growth for the company. 



Product Line Manager

Led the prototype development of new products for with foreign and domestic vendors. Responsible for all product specifications data; sourced and developed materials and managed materials records and testing standards.
