Digital Marketing Manager

Digital marketing & ecommerce expert with 8 years of experience. I've been blessed with opportunities to help others achieve their personal and professional goals. I know the value of having quality team members, led by a quality leadership team, both of which I have had the privilege to be a part of. As one who is always growing himself, I love being able to learn and improve my skill set, and inspire others on their own journey. My hope is that I never stop growing in the areas of my life that will make me a better team-member, leader, employee, mentor, friend, and husband.

My role as the Digital Marketing Manager at System Pavers has been to increase brand awareness and create demand through our digital channels, and partnered sites. It is also important to me that I am able to positively influence my team members to be a more effective unit, working towards the same goals. We strive to be the best home improvement brand in the industry.

I've had the privilege to work along side with some of the brightest minds, and hardest working people in the business. During my time with Too Faced, I've been able to execute the following (and still growing):

Online Marketing Manager

Being a part of this brand was truly an amazing experience. We were able to see a simple ecommerce website turn into a true competitor in the skincare/beauty space. To be able to leave my footprint here is an honor. At my time here, I was able to perform the following:

Digital marketing planning, KPI reporting, website merchandising Competitive strategizing, Analytics tracking across all marketing channels, Search Engine Marketing, email marketing, web design, budgeting, CRM, content management, SEO, video editing, management of marketing vendors

DWS, Inc. was an online retailer of surfboards and accessories, primarily sold through online marketplaces such as eBay, and Amazon. We expanded the business to sell direct-to-consumer through our custom built website, and invest more of our budget to online advertising channels. This was where I really got my feet wet in the Ecommerce space, and was able to learn a new skill-set beyond the traditional brick & mortar environments. 

By the end of my time here I had accomplished the follwing:

Management of vendors, Web-Marketing strategy, PPC management, assisted in web-design, inventory management, website merchandising, product design, order processing, and customer support.

Web Operations Manager

My time at Hobie Sports was that of two main roles: 

The first was as a supervisor to store employees, managing the day-to-day retail tasks for a surf and apparel shop. Daily cash counts, and store merchandising were among the many tasks under my role, while maintaining the highest level of customer service to store guests.

The second was being a part of the warehouse receiving, and product allocation teams. A daily shipment of store merchandise was received, recorded, and allocated to the appropriate store locations. I was able to have a hand in each of these tasks with the goal of keeping our retail stores well stocked, and prepared.

Sales Supervisor

Being someone who enjoys the ocean and water sports, Hobie surfboards was a real treat to be able to manage the operations of a legendary surf innovator. I had the privilege of working with some of the best surfboard shapers in the industry, and keeping their workflow organized. Aside from being amazed by the true craftsmanship of surfboard shaping, I was responsible for managing PO's, filling/shipping PO's, delivery of product to retail stores all over Southern CA, and general shop maintenance. In hind-site, this was truly an honor to be a part of.
