I would love to return to the industry in which I loved working! For the past 3 years, I have owned & operated a local coffee shop full-time. This time has been priceless and I have learned so much about myself and gained a new level of understanding and patience. It feels like yesterday that I worked at Intrawest as an Assistant Buyer, so I believe I would be able to transition back into an administrative role seamlessly.

Owned & operated a local coffee shop in the Gunnison Valley. We had 20+ employees, & offered food, as well as drink options. 

Owner/Operator

•	Managed retail categories of sundries, logo souvenirs, socks

o	Assisted with the creation of buy plans

o	Prepared weekly reports through Metacube/Apropos for the merchandise team including but not limited to:  Sell thru, sales and on hand, out of stocks, replenishment, top seller, bottom seller, margin
o	Attended buying shows, appointments and on-snow events

•	Purchase Order Management

o	Entered purchase orders
o	Adhered to all PO deadlines and schedules
o	Maintained purchase order logs
o	Compiled and reported past due/open orders monthly
o	Followed up with vendors as required
o	Purchase order filling and document management
o	First point of contact for issues with purchase orders
o	Worked with warehouse to assist in resolving problem orders and invoicing

•	Order Confirmations

o	Reviewed all orders and validated against vendor order confirmations to ensure accuracy prior to shipment
o	Resolved discrepancies with buyers and/or vendors
o	Worked with Customer Service or Sales Rep and followed up on missing confirmations and discrepancies
o	Maintained and organized vendor contact spreadsheet

•	Retail Product Management

o	Created and maintained all retail products (Skus) in retail merchandise system
o	Performed SKU cross-referencing for back office system
o	Troubleshoot issues in point of sale system
o	Created and maintained retail price changes (Promo and Hardmark) as required
o	Updated markdown spreadsheets
o	Test at POS
o	Troubleshoot issues and resolve or communicate to appropriate parties
o	Reporting
o	Prepared reports through Metacube & Apropos for the merchandise team as required
o	Assisted with System support and Data Integrity
o	Assisted buyers in preparation for planning & vendor meetings, trade shows and other critical meetings as required.
o	Entered information for items to be ordered based on buyer recommendations/workbooks.
