Graphic Designer

Born and raised in Los Angeles, I have dedicated much of my education and research to the history and theory of marketing, brand identity, and art history. Besides working and studying as a graphic designer, I have had the pleasure of exhibiting my work as an artist internationally, and locally as well as curating group shows throughout California and other parts of the United States. In my free time I enjoy skateboarding, making collages, curating, shooting photos, hiking, backpacking, and camping. Much of that influences my views on sustainability and genuine marketing/branding efforts. Over the last 6 years I have worked primarily in the fashion and action sports industry with an emphasis in branding, identity, and event marketing. Currently looking to make a transition to Carlsbad/ San Diego Area

Lead the creative team in developing templates & systems for efficiency & faster turnaround, as well as brand consistency across the divisions. Collaborate between divisions in the company to conceptualize & develop product design/graphics, Product development, packaging, print ads, newsletters, social media posts, catalogs, line sheets, and sales sheets. Work closely with printers on paper sourcing & print techniques for print collateral.

Advised the creative director & marketing team to help establish guidelines & work flow from department to department. Established guides and templates for POP and POS. Designed newsletters, in-store signage & visual development for the musician makers campaign.

Responsible for design & layout of POP, POS, print collateral, signage, lookbooks, line sheets, training guides & directives for Herve Leger, BCBGeneration, BCBGMAXAZRIA.

Initiated brand consistency between web, social media, print & all other collateral for client outreach. Established brand guides for future hires & for current staff to work within the parameters of the DSTLD brand. Collaborated with the marketing team to develop the design & layout of newsletters, eblasts, web banners, online advertisements, print collateral, product tags, packaging, signage, graphics, lookbooks, line sheets,  
& questionnaires for marketing research.

Collaborated closely with strategy team to fulfill visual objectives for client needs. Built out mood boards for client pitches. Created designs for California Pizza Kitchen’s social media posts on Instagram (months of March and May). Created package design for Jamba Juice. In collaboration with strategy, conceptualized a rebrand proposal for Kevita, which included logo development, package design, brand guide & marketing material.

Conceptualized, prototyped & designed new signage for interior & exterior of A.A. stores. Responsible for design of full store graphics, POP, POS, photo editing, calibration, retouching & specialty print jobs. Established templates for A.A’s global in-store graphics. Designed floor plans for placement of signage & graphics. Contacted & negotiated with vendors, fabricators & printers for large scale projects. Generated files for print & fabrication. Performed in-house printing on large format printers (Epson and Roland) & CAD cut vinyl cutters. Project managed installation crews for large scale signage.

Responsible for layout design, advertisements, event promotional material & photography. Also responsible for client correspondence & project delivery regarding menus, advertisements & other print collateral.
