Graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder's Leeds Business School with an emphasis in marketing. Started my professional career in the real estate industry. After a year in the industry, I came to the conclusion that it wasn't the right fit for me. I then took a position as a ski instructor up at Mammoth Mountain. On my days off I would volunteer with Eastern Sierra Disabled Sports. This is where I found my passion for working with individuals with disabilities and special needs. After my first season ski instructing, I found a summer position at The Friendship Circle, the company I am currently employed. They offered me a full time position for when I returned from my second season ski instructing, since I had already committed to going back. I've now been with The Friendship Circle for two and a half years as the Special Event and Marketing Manager and absolutely love it. My main responsibility is co-producing the SKECHERS Pier to Pier Friendship Walk along side the Skechers Foundation. The past three years we have raised $1,000,000, $1,200,000 and $1,400,000, respectively, for special education programs and local schools. I am currently looking to take my next step in my professional career.
