Assistant Event Manager with a national 5k Fun Run, The ROC Race. Assist the Event Manager and Executive Team in operations, logistics and production of our events nation-wide. Handle pre-event, event and post-event responsibilities to help ensure we have a smooth and exciting event in each market. Handle equipment rentals, budgets, travel arrangements, insurance requirements, other event rentals, staff management onsite, volunteer coordination onsite, etc. In the first year of the National tour, ROC Race went to 8 different cities. In 2014, ROC Race will visit more than 15 cities with an average of 9,000 participants in each market. Each market, ROC Race recruits 400+ volunteers to assist with Packet Pick-Up and Event Day activities.

Achieved 106% forecasted sales goals for VAVi's Sports Department during 2012
