Customer Service and Order Desk Representative

Throughout my career, I have maintained the highest performance standards within a diverse range of customer service functions, which is illustrated with my past responsibilities.  I have worked in customer service, especially with EDI functions, for more than 10 years.  Prior to that I have worked in logistics with the US Navy and led logistic support for several overseas deployment locations.  



Act as a single point of contact for Retail and all West Coast/Midwest wholesale customers.
Perform all phases of the order process, to include receiving order(s), entering into the integrated system, ensuring timeliness, appropriate account specifications and applicable documentation is accurate and complete. 
Coordinate and act as a liaison between AR Department and vendors with outstanding account issues.
Assist customers with modifications and/or cancellations; also helps in tracking customer and vendor orders.
Resolves and investigates order discrepancies for direct dealers/major accounts.
Perform all phases of customer service, to include handling customer calls and emails, checked stock availability, assist in expediting urgent orders and when needed give technical advice.
Guide customers and vendors identify products that best suit their needs.
Actively involved in the Jacuzzi customer service call center 
Consistently supports with maintaining a 99 % answer rate for all customer service calls.
Aids in resolving problems and complaints from both customers/vendors; this while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Act as a liaison between the sales staff and company support staff. 
Provide support to sales staff in matters pertaining to the sales function.
Manage refusals and return authorizations in a timely and efficient manner- coordinate information with warehouse receiving team for MRA processing.
Process exchanges/returns (Material Return Authorization) and credits within established guidelines.  In instances the situation requires it; I also initiate BOL’s (Bill of Lading) for product returning back to Jacuzzi or in reconsigment of units with our carriers
Track damages and returns and record all details in return authorization log. Track lines which require a credit memo or reship, and follow up with accounts receivable or 3rd part warehouse to confirm the actions accrued out. Track 3rd part warehouse shipping errors, and resolve reconciling items with warehouse support and personnel. Ensure the timely resolution of all order discrepancies, shortages, mis-shipments, and defective product returns. 
Created an efficient, easy to locate and use filling system.  This helps facilitate auditors and employees during our QA yearly review.

Scheduled and posted daily repair part and accessory schedule for on time shipments. 
Led weekly conference calls with customer service and manufacturing departments for retail and wholesale dealers on on time orders. 
Maintained tracking for all company orders with 100% on time delivery. 
Present monthly on time metrics for management meetings. 
Verified retail vendor compliance reports with 100% accuracy. 
Assigned additional responsibilities by assisting the accounting department with the following; run and download labor and overhead absorption reports. 
Assist with month end process by entering journal entries.
Part of my duties where to verify GL totals and comparative labor reports for review. 
Compiled and generated daily scrap reports for management.

Logistic Coordinator

Schedule, post and maintain accuracy of daily production schedules. 
Expedite scheduled and unscheduled orders for shipping deadlines with flexibility. 
Intercept any discrepancies in production changes and eliminate unnecessary costs for both the customer and company. 
Publish daily and weekly production changes alongside adjusting schedules for customer demand. 
Supported sales forecasting and was in constant communication with customer service and sales departments.
When required assisted the receiving department in receiving and closing open purchase orders.

Production Planner

Lead logistic support for the U.S. Navy while stationed in Rota, Spain and various detachment locations in Greece and Curacao, N.A. 
When on deployments I managed a $7 Million dollar aircraft parts inventory with a 100% percent validation.
I was directly responsible for the shipment of over 20,000 pounds of equipment and supplies for remote detachment sites. 
Coordinated and supervised aircraft transfers and modifications inventorying and accounting for all parts and equipment. 
Detailed accounting efforts led to approval of a Government Purchase Credit Card to provide more direct support. 
Researched and identified obsolete items that resulted in a return of over $7,000 of consumable material that was returned to the Naval Supply System. 
Part of my responsibilities included supervising five juniors in management and customer service support. 
I advanced in station five positions to supervisor in four years. 
Completed my required service and received an honorable discharge and a Navy Achievement Award after four and a half years of service.
