I'm a current MBA student at the University of California, Irvine looking to transition into a career in digital marketing in the arts & entertainment industry. 

Since 2010, I've managed my own blog MyjestikBlog, in which I write about current events in music and other aspects of pop culture. While running the blog, I have learned different facets of social media marketing, search engine optimization, and webmastering. I continue to gain more experience with the blog as well as gaining corporate experience.

My years of working in a library setting have given me transferable skills that will work well with my new career aspirations. I've developed skills in building interpersonal effectiveness, maturing my power and influence on others, being precise in my analysis and strategic decision making, and bringing management structure. I also get to flex my marketing muscles by creating campaigns for events, both offline and online.

Advise and assist library patrons in locating and choosing appropriate materials at customer service desks
Assists patrons in researching and using various print and online library resources
Coordinate with staff on the maintenance, promotion, organization of Virtual Library including library website, databases, ebooks, and social media

Respond to inquiries about computer related problems, including hardware, software, and other issues. 
Install both and hardware and software; Create and implement images for the computers.
Troubleshoot and find a solution in support of any hardware, or software issue. I also install other peripherals and office equipment such as printers. 
Create graphics for desktop of public computers; Created homepage for public computers.
Order and replace parts from peripherals.
Relocated data and phone wires for a new desk that holds four workstations, and another section that holds three work stations.
Terminated data cables for new workstations.

Maintain the Technology Center and the computers and printer within it; Image new computers while also re-imaging those that are inoperable at the time.
Receive library patrons; researches and answers questions and assists patrons in the use of library facilities and resources; answers reference questions, referring the most difficult or unusual to a librarian.
Assists in publicizing library programs; develops and creates a variety of visual aids and 
displays.

Troubleshot employee computer problems through phone and email.
Serviced troubled PCs that was unable to fix at an employee's desk.
