I attended UCSD graduated  with a BA in History/Minor in  Spanish. I graduated from the  California State Lifeguard  Academy and am certified in  first aid, CPR, BLS, and AED. I am a certified Level 3 AASI  Snowboard Instructor. I have been the Lifeguard Coordinator for Crystal Cove State Park Junior Lifeguard Program for two years now and have been responsible for over seeing the entire program; managing a $180,000 budget between purchasing, staffing, equipment, and uniforms.

I have worked my way from a seasonal tower guard to a year round Lifeguard 2, and the position of Junior Lifeguard Coordinator. I am responsible for the success of a 350 kid Junior Lifeguard Program at Crystal Cove State Park. My responsibilities include: managing $180,000 budget with appropriate staffing, equipment, uniforms, and other miscellaneous purchases. I am responsible for creating and updating the Junior Lifeguard website, Facebook page, and Instagram account. I have helped build this program from the first year in existence to one of the most successful Junior Lifeguard Programs in the State of California. I have spent countless hours selling this program to vendors, families, and sponsors. I have marketed this program in Orange County Beach cities where other competitive programs have stood for years, yet I was able to create our own niche and success within.

I have worked at Bear Mountain as a seasonal Snowboard Instructor for 5 years. I have taken exams and worked my way to one of the highest ranking instructors at bear Mountain; Level 3 AASI Instructor & Freestyle Specialist. I helped start the bear Mountain Freestyle Camp and have been the head coach of the camp since it began in the winter of 2011. I have worked in the marketing department for Bear Mountain for the past 3 years as well assisting in promoting at events like Ski Dazzle at the LA Convention center and other promotional events at local shops in Southern California.

Snowboard Instructor

As a marketing inern I was exposed to all facets and departments within the clothing company. I assisted in packaging and shipping of orders. I assisted in taking photos of entire clothing lines, editing the photographs, and posting them to the website. I wrote recent event articles and product promotion articles and posted them to the website. I edited banners and advertisements and posted them to the website as well as websites that carried ...Lost products. I edited small promotional vides and posted them to website. I assisted in promotional events, set up, promotion, break down. I worked in the surf shop in San Clemente selling surfboards, clothing, and all products within the shop.
