Public Relations Intern

Responsible for the distribution of stats at halftime and after games. Assists with player interviews for out of town media outlets. Produce credentials, manage press entrance sign-in, and manage media dining sign-in. Assists with the collection of quotes and help produce game notes.

Assisted with the maintaining and updating of statistical data for the upcoming 2014-2015 school year. Assists the Associate Athletic Director of Communication with any day-to-day needs and learned the following programs: STATCrew, PrestoSports, InDesign, and Photoshop.

Athletic Communications Intern

Responsible for updating clip files, as well as updating and maintaining stats, and the distribution of stats at halftime and after games. Produce content for corporate website and assist with player interviews for out of town media outlets. Experience with the software tools InDesign and Microsoft Publisher. Associate Editor for the Washington Wizards Regular Season Media Guide and Washington Wizards Postseason Media Guide.

Assigned to Managers of Finance, Event Planning, and Community Outreach. Assisted with Redsfest and coordinated a variety of promotions including 50/50 raffle ticket seller, successfully selling 8.5% of their $1.1MM goal. Completed financial reporting requirements for the tax staff and coordinated logistics, registration, and site management for the Red’s Urban Youth Academy.

Sales & Marketing Intern

Assisted the Membership Coordinator with membership renewals, surveys, and acquisition of new members. Designed, developed, and administered a membership survey to garner feedback on membership values and exhibitions offered by the museum. Managed all aspects of the survey from research and selection of software tool through statistical reporting of results to Hall of Fame Executive Director. Additionally, designed an email tool for the entire Hall of Fame and Museum membership for the bi-annual member recognition update.

Membership Intern

Assisted with game day set-up, breakdown, assembling and distributing of collateral materials, rosters, etc. for all Men’s Soccer and Women’s Basketball games. Ball Kid management for Men’s Soccer. Varying responsibilities for Women’s Basketball including: LaRosa’s pizza distributions, Kroger Kid Zone, and postgame fan activities.
