Global Retail Merchandising Manager

A creative-minded individual with 10+ years of visual merchandising and management experience. Currently responsible for design, development, and execution of retail environments, displays cases and fixtures, POP, event activations, trade shows, sales meetings, and other marketing needs of two globally recognized companies.

• Conduct store visits to provide consistent, yet store specific, merchandising direction and support.
• Manage POP, signage, window displays and fixture inventory and processes, development, execution and budgeting.
• Organizes, executes, and oversees trade shows, consumer activations, product events, sales meetings, and office displays at a global level.
• Work with Sales team in understanding product assortment and key drivers, creating POP & displays to meet their needs.
• Provide regular communication to Sales team regarding core and seasonal POP offerings, product and fixtures, visual presentations and dealer promotions.
• Develop a monthly/seasonal/annual plan and calendar for in-store marketing materials, trade show and show room visuals, including visual guidelines and resources for supporting go to market strategies.
• Organize and distribute seasonal AV content for global in-store/in-space play.
• Develop and implement new retail guidelines that drive consistency and deliver against customer experience, sales & premium brand ambitions.
• Own retail trends, review shopper and buying behavior and benchmark competitor retail execution.
• Collaborate with Marketing team on marketing initiatives, brand collateral and creative content, as well as other cross-functional teams involved in merchandising projects.
• Coordinate feedback from sales, marketing and product teams in developing strategies, guidelines and tools specific to visual merchandising role.
• Manage Visual Merchandising teams on resources, procedures and best practices.
• Responsible for retail marketing planning, budgeting, expenses and reporting.
• Manage internal and external retail marketing suppliers, vendors, and partners.
• Develop, execute, and communicate consistent visual merchandising standards and guidelines that support business initiatives and enhance Nixon product presentation at retail at a global level.

• Work closely with sales team to manage entry, processing, and execution of sales orders.
• Manage daily at once sales order entries based upon available inventory.
• Monitor the accuracy of transaction information related to sales orders, returns, and service orders for efficient processing.
• Maximize fill rates by having a clear understanding of product availability and the allocation process.
• Preserve sales order integrity by managing any revisions and cancellations to ensure orders are ready for allocation by requested ship dates. 
• Recommend and carry out end of season, past cancel date, and back order cancellations.
• Have a clear understanding or seasonal timelines and new season product knowledge.
• Develop a clear understanding of the supply chain and the relationship of inbound product to outbound sales orders.
• Remain current with inbound styles and reported updates to clearly communicate order status to the sales team.
• Ensure orders are set up with correct shipping codes and transportation methods.
• Collaborate with transportation companies to help resolve shipment refusals and product delivery issues.
•  Partner with accounting team to ensure account balance accuracy.
•  Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Navision, Excel, Word, Zendesk, Illustrator, Photoshop
