Project Management/Engineering Intern

- Current Plastics and Polymer Engineering Technology student at Pennsylvania college of technology.  I have worked within the plastics processing field for 3 years doing many different types of projects.  I am set to graduate in May 2015 and would like to find a great job that I can enjoy and be happy with what I am doing.  

My goals include: 

- Be able to apply my plastics engineering knowledge and 3D design talent to an area of interest that I love and enjoy.  

- Have an important input to the development of new products for the action/motorsports industry.

- Be able to enjoy my job while also having fun doing sports I love such as Motocross, wakeboarding as well as golfing.  



- Assisted Chief Operating Officer with all managerial duties and Extrusion tech. interviews.

 -Reviewed and revised pre-existing European standard operating procedures, created new documentation following all corporate SOP standards as required. 
 
-Assisted engineering consulting company with operating permit process.

-Calculated chemical emissions (VOC’s, HAP’s, PM) with PP/COPP resin based on projected  operating schedule for Department of Environmental Protection. 

- Used 3D CAD to create models and drawings of steel auxiliary equipment support frames. 

-Created and processed purchase orders/invoices, developed spare parts inventory tracking system.

+Research and Development/ Lab testing (2013)

-Set up DSC equipment, Validation tests, Quality Control, DOE’s, Vacuum Bagging procedure development for composite structures, Conducted adhesive study for glass/fabric laminated sheet

-Operated extruder for manufacturing, Trouble shooted, Quality Control, Maintained Inventory, Packaging
