Magazine Publication Designer

Design is a passion of mine, I love to work, when I'm not in my part time role working with magazine layout I freelance In a wide variety of design, check out my profile!

I currently maintain the company wordpress site part time from home, it includes a full e-commerce shop & media player.

The role consists of daily uploading of content from news, audio & video posts. The main duties are to ensure the site is up to date with creation of product scroller banners & advertisement for social media platforms.

The website layout is managed with the wordpress visual composer app which gives me full reigns of layout restyling & updates to the sites functionality.

Freelance Digital Designer

Working for myself is a dream from Logo design, vehicle and shop signage to brochure & magazine design, I have no limit to what I enjoy designing, I rarely so no to most design work, I love it

Freelance Graphic Designer

This is my part time role which I am very grateful to be a part of, I produce 2 magazine bi-monthly, one is a 80+ page & the other 40+ page in the shipping & offshore repair industry, mainly Indesign based it's something I enjoy very much, I also maintain 3 websites & all marketing within this busy but small business.

Currently I'm working with a busy small team in a vinyl print cutting department, from Tshirt design, vehicle and shop signage to large format bus wraps, starting with design through to the production it's a very hands on role I really enjoy

I worked in my personal time freelancing with Impact Media creating a wide variety of digital & print media design products from website banners, scroller pos, social media advertisement and product catalogs. The other side is printed products brochures, business cards to large format shop signage, the hours vary depending on the work load available but Its a great position for me and I enjoy every minute.

I joined a small team within a large law firm to help increase efficiency within the report department, general duties included printing on a few varied copiers & digital presses aswell as finishing the prints from trimming flyers to binding legal documents and promotional booklets, the role was varied in its requirements which i enjoyed. 

Reprographics Operator

I worked within a high vollume print room on a continental shift rotation in Essex, I have been operating a xerox igen 4 & recently moved to the new xerox igen 150, this includes loading work through the rip ensuring the details for the jobs are correct, pre press duties are required using InDesign and other adobe cc programs ensuring all files are print ready aswell as general maintenance to keep the quality of the press at its highest, the general shift is always high pace with no job to much, I love the deadline driven environment I work within and would like to get my foot into a city based role. 

Xerox Digital Print Operator

I worked within a busy sales team where we generate sales from telephone, email & live chat enquiries. The main focus is to increase sales & ensure customer care is at its highest level, it's a fast & high tempo environment which i loved being apart of.

Sales Accounts Manager

This stands to be the greatest role I have been in since starting work, as a keen skateboarder I couldn’t turn it down. Due to the nature of my previous role I joined the skate store with the purpose of designing products, a website, developing the brand & advertising for the products within the store and through social networking avenues.

During this role I got involved with shop sales & really enjoyed the customer service side of retail, after this I was given the opportunity to take over as store manager. I grew to love the shop floor, its atmosphere and the customer traffic which kept the place alive. I handled the daily takings, online sales, staff members shift rotas, duties & wages which included a team of 7 at its highest.

The role also included visual merchandising, presentation displays,  store maintenance duties. The key sale point for us was our exclusive footwear collection with over 120 styles available to our customers. Over the 3 years the role expanded.

Graphic Designer / Ecommerce Website Manager

I worked within a busy in-house design team, where i created artwork from stationery to brochures using the adobe creative suite, also included in the role was proof reading and making sure completed design jobs are print ready for final production.
