Apparel Graphic Designer

I’m the designer you are looking for! Just released back into the wild after 9 years of designing in the cycle industry.  I have over 20 years experience in both apparel graphics, and product graphics/design. 

Working collaboratively with a team of artists, and account managers providing
custom sports, and licensed graphics, apparel, promotional products, etc.
•   Createing original vector art, custom logo design, hand illustration, and logo rebuilds.
•   Artwork seperation setup for screen printing, and review production samples.

APPAREL GRAPHIC ARTIST

PACIFIC CYCLE INC.

•   Created 2D product renderings for Schwinn, Mongoose, and Kid Trax. Responsible
for designing the overall product color and graphics, including; decals, components,
plastic, and frame finishes. Products included: bikes, e-bikes, e-scooters, bike
parts and accessories (forks, saddles, and helmets), battery-powered ride-on
toys, scooters, push bikes, and trikes.
•   Designed product for inbound licenses, like Disney and Nickelodeon, adhering to specific character style guides.
•   Researched design and color trends within the industry (including product, audience, lifestyle, inspiration, competitive brands, etc.) and created yearly palettes for Schwinn
and Mongoose bicycle brands.
•   Provided overall direction and inspiration mood boards.
•   Prepared support materials for sales presentations and retailer meetings.
•   Participated in regular design critiques and consumer insight discussions
to ensure designs adhere to brand guidelines and our consumers.
•   Developed a shared library of rendered bike components and parts.
•   Created print-ready, organized production artwork.
•   Consulted and problem-solved with factories to create successful decal packages.
•   Responsible for reviewing the final sample and communicating any known issues
before production begins.

PRODUCT GRAPHIC DESIGNER

•   Color-matched Pantone swatches to factory colors through preproduction color samples.
•   Reviewed sample swatches from the factory to ensure color execution matches the artwork.
•   Updated and communicated artwork set-up process if and when needed.
•   Prepared error-free files with meticulous attention to detail on all aspects:
design, size ranges, and production.

CONTRACT GRAPHIC AND TEXTILE DESIGNER

•Worked with the Product Creative team creating original vector artwork,print, and pattern design according to the retailer’s seasonal line plans. 
•Clients included: Target, Old Navy, GAP, Eddie Bauer, Walmart, PacSun, Zoo York, Goldbug Inc, Kotis Design, and Gift Cart Impressions.
