Creative Director / Embroiderer

- Owns and operates a service-based business, providing clients with one of a kind embroidered items, using a hand cranked 1930's chain stitch embroidery machine.
- Works with clients from initial concept of design to final garment production.
- Built client base through Etsy and Instagram, utilizing SEO and influencer marketing campaigns.
- Produces all design concepts through Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, while managing all art projects and creative direction.

Site Merchandising Coordinator

• Assist in development of seasonal product strategies for category with Design and Merchandising teams, including trend identification, color palette, concept, category, style, costing and pricing.
• Review category products as directed to ensure brand cohesiveness.
• Responsible for taking notes during fittings as well as following up with vendors on styles that need additional proto sampling.
• Trouble-shoot issues regarding fabric characteristics, technical construction, fit and functionality vs. style details.
• Assist Design and Merchandising with the garment’s construction specifications during initial development by reviewing, making suggestions, and monitoring timelines.

Product Development/Design Associate

• Analyze, recommend and ensure execution of site activity to maximize conversion and average order.
• Review site performance and direct the activities of team members to make appropriate adjustments to meet customer demands.
• Work with Site Merchandising Coordinator on the evaluation and optimization of merchandising presentation and initiate tactics to optimize search term results.

Site Merchandising Manager

• Responsible for uploading new product, writing stylist notes, grouping related products and setting products up for sales and promotions.
• Assist at photo shoots by styling models, maintaining records of product shots and organizing shoots.
• Audit site for accuracy of categories, images and the removal of sold out items.
• Research e-commerce trends and participate in internal brainstorms to conceptualize initiatives to drive traffic online.
• Assist with the development of seasonal merchandising plans in order to coincide with the marketing cadence.
