Member of the US Coast Guard for 8 years, became General Manager of Mainland Skate and Surf located in Northern California.  Moved to Arizona advancing through all ranks of Horticulture West Inc.  completing my tenure as Senior Vice President.  Started Element Green Landscape Management in Tempe, AZ shortly after the closure of Horticulture West, successfully operated that company for two years before deciding to move back to Southern California to become General Manager / Sales Manager of West Marine Newport Beach, CA.
