I am eager to transition into the sports equipment industry. My career has revolved around projects that were usually out of the ordinary: Concept cars that travelled around the world, big-screen movie props and vehicles, prototype vehicles for land or air, and products that catered to the niche motorsport of rally. Being a quick learner in these industries, I gained not only skills and experience, but also a better idea of who I am – open-minded, resourceful, and strong willed.

• Co-manage a summer engineering internship program for students of UC Riverside, UC Irvine, and CSU Long Beach
• Develop efficient workflow and management processes within the engineering department to accommodate business growth
• Reverse engineer large scale filtration assemblies to translate them into CAD data and technical drawings
• Implement lifestyle branding ideas for the outdoor adventurer and grassroots motorsport enthusiasts
• Generate and update bill of materials throughout product lines
• Review engineering drawings and documents prior to release

• Apply knowledge of tool design to develop mechanical solutions of prototype vehicles under client’s specifications
• Assign specifications and tolerances on data using CATIA for composite, CNC milling, and fabrication departments
• Evaluate design feasibility through research and kinematic studies
• Provide engineering support with hard modeling, manufacturing, and composite departments to ensure development of peak performing and high quality products
• Transform initial designs and data from clients into manufacture-ready CAD files and technical drawings
• Generate bill of materials and technical drawings to release to management and manufacturing
• Communicate with outside development services to co-develop products
• Produce sectional drawings to explore, review, and recommend effective design and manufacturing methods

Junior Design Engineer

• CAD using Solidworks to manufacture tooling fixtures for Mitsubishi Motors of North America
• Document, prototype, and design accessories for Mitsubishi Motors of North America
• Design and fabricate custom front end, skid plate, and accessories to the 2013 Ford Focus ST (Colin McRae Tribute) for the 2012 SEMA Show
• Work on prototype and low volume manufacturing in sheet metal and tube fabrication
• Test and develop skid guard and light bar prototypes through rallycross racing, snow, and off-road conditions
• Install and fabricate custom designed light bar assemblies under tight packing limitations
• Perform visual quality inspection of parts from suppliers
• Communicate with customers to address their lighting and underbody protection requirements
• Research and investigate product issues and provide resolutions 
• Act as liaison between Rally Innovations and university students to develop internship program
