Over 5 years experience in working in international trade.

As a logistics coordinator I’ve had hands-on experience in international trade, import, exports, logistics, transportation, and operations in the electronics manufacturing industry. Commodities included but were not limited to photovoltaic solar panels, elevator & escalators, heating, ventilation, and air conditioners, semiconductors, automotive, personal effects, and marketing materials.
This position consisted tasks & knowledge in international freight forwarding, U.S. imports/exports, U.S. Customs Brokerage, Mexican Customs Brokerage, Canadian Customs Brokerage, International Air/Sea Freight Forwarding, Freight Bill Auditing, Import/Export Documentation, EEI/SED Auditing, Freight Insurance Claims, Commodity Classifications HTSUS/Schedule B, Routed Exports, Record Retentions, Importer Security Filing (10+2), Customs & Trade Compliance.
In addition to international trade, I have managed domestic transportation markets which included Less Than Truckload Services, Truckload Services, Dispatching, Freight Quotes, Flat Beds, Bobtails, Dedicated Trucks, Expedited Air Shipments (FedEx/UPS/DHL), Exhibit, Trade Show & Convention Services.

Maintained shipping appointments with carriers. Routing shipments. Contacted carriers to make arrangements and to issue instructions for loading products. Annotated shipping orders to inform shipping department of loading location and time of arrival of transportation. Maintained accurate and current inventory records.  Continually focus on the improvement of processes in order to ensure the customer’s needs are met for high quality, cost effective, logistics.
