Hey there, my name is Riley, I am an industrial designer in the Irvine area. My passions are to provide creative solutions and work with a dynamic team to release meaningful, beautiful products.

I am very passionate about Art and Design, graduating in 2011 from The College For Creative Studies in Detroit MI with emphasis in Industrial Design. I have always had an interest in drawing, design and fine art. My passion has lead me into an ideal career that continues to excite me everyday, with new opportunities and challenges.

My 5 years of professional experiences include designing both in hard and soft goods with a broad range of products and materials. Most recently, I contributed in developing the head wear and apparel for the past 2 seasons and successful production launch of a new goggle accessory product. Some of my daily tasks include; Preparing technical packages for domestic and overseas manufactures, product overviews, creative concepts through sketches, 2d-3d CAD/renderings, working with vendors and manufacturing professionals to produce molds and prototypes. Making sure all product is released to market accurately and effectively within the target deadline. I am also familiar with a range of manufacturing processes including, injection molding, steel roll forming, stretch bending, hydro forming, vacuum forming, and sublimation techniques. I thrive in group collaboration, and consider myself a team player. In my free time I run my own apparel/fashion brand and ride my motorcycle.

I am looking to expand my experience in the product/ action sports design industry, and continue to provide creative concepts and quality work for a company that shares a similar passion for creativity. I believe I have the necessary tools, attitude, and leadership qualities to provide a performance that is expected from a world class design/manufacturing company.

Product development in hard/soft goods. Making sure all product is released to market accurately and effectively. Also, providing additional product development needs such as, catalog imagery preparation, prototype/sample specification, line merchandising and presenting product offerings to brand representatives.

Product Designer

JAC Products is the global leader in roof rack and cargo management systems for all major automotive O.E.M's. Core competencies include; plastic injection molding, vacuum forming, metal roll forming, extrusions, wet paint, powder coat, and assembly.

responsibilities involved working with a close knit team of engineers, sales directors, and team leaders from all the major automotive companies. Brainstorming sessions, sketches, renderings, buck models, and 3D CAD concepts were presented based on specific needs and project briefs. Problem solving for projects involving cargo management systems, exterior trim, interior components, and functional lighting solutions. 

Exposure to professional automotive design studios, special engineering facilities, and manufacturing factories.
