Brand & Web Designer

It always starts with a solid service or product. Anything that consistently fulfills a group of people. I can then coordinate & create the parts which unify it all into an energizing, mystical, self-perpetuating, branded community. Creating community is vital because that's when customers become loyal friends rather thank fleeting consumers. And that's when solid progress happens. The parts that I create often look like a website, app, email, article, video, package or poster but it could be anything. Whatever animates the brand.

We mainly outfit skiers and snowboarders with rental equipment. The challenge has been to build a seamless process that enables people to fully participate in this community of 10,000 annual customers, 150 seasonal employees, 12 local shops, 4 distinct brands, and 1 love for snow-covered mountains. We do this with all the usual means but with our own values and priorities: responsive web pages, simpler reservation forms, timely emails, engaging blogs, comfortable shops and an experienced team. Our customers don't just want a ski shop to toss them their rentals. They want a ski shop that loves the same gear, the same mountains and the same moments as them. We are creating this experience.
