Retail Buying Coordinator

I am a recent Retail, Merchandising, and Product Development graduate.  After graduating from Florida State University I moved to California to pursue my career in buying.  I interned with BCBG in the wholesale buying department where I learned hands on buying and merchandising experience.  The internship lead me to my current position as a Retail Buying Coordinator, where my responsibilities range from organizing deliveries, to creating new purchase orders and holding touch bases with my buyers from various divisions.  My retail background is diverse which in turn makes my skillset extremely unique.  I recently completed a store management internship where I was able to learn all aspects of a retail store front, as well as development my leadership and management skill set.  Ultimately my goal would be to be able to combine my leadership skills with my passion for buying and merchandising and find the perfect place for myself in the retail community.
