I am passionate about the outdoors. My career has been focused on how we play outside and the impacts we have on the environment. My background has allowed me to succeed in a number of different avenues, whether it is building weather stations on remote glaciers in Alaska to crunching data and writing technical documents in Boulder, CO. I am passionate about being in the mountains and I have focused my entire education on how they are built and ultimately destroyed. My Master's dissertation focused on the processes that control the snow accumulation and ice melt (ablation) on a glacier in Oregon and how that is controlled by the local meteorology. Academia was not my calling, so I am looking to go back to my roots and get back into the outdoor gear industry. I am a life-long skier, who has traveled the world with the goal of making that next clean turn. I seek adventure in all aspects of life and I am hungry to learn.
