Dear Recruiting Professional, 

I am currently looking to get back into the Outdoor Apparel industry. I have recently been employed by a Children’s accessory company called Goldbug, Inc for the past 5 months and I had missed the challenges and excitement that came with working with outdoor gear and apparel. During my time at Goldbug, Inc. I was able to refine my merchandising and account management skills along with learning a lot about CPSIA standards. With the additional knowledge and experience I had acquired, I was still missing the excitement of working in the outdoor industry.

I had previously been employed at Cabela’s, Inc. for a little over 2 years as a Color Specialist. I handled all aspects of color development, from lab dips and bulk fabric approvals to the evaluation of our preproduction samples. In my current position I have been fortunate enough to work side by side with many different cross functional groups as well as all of our vendors and mills. 

In my time at Cabela’s I have also been involved in a few different strategic projects. I have been involved on a materials consolidation project, the main goal of this project was to consolidate fabrics and trims across different product categories. The consolidation of these materials has helped our team to lower costs and shorten timelines. I was also the project co-lead on restructuring our entire lab dipping process.

In addition to my time at Cabela’s, Inc, I also have a significant amount of Visual Merchandising and Customer Service experience. This past experience has enabled me to connect with customers on a more personal level and helps immensely when developing a garment in terms of function and presentation.

•	Manages major national accounts.
•	Develop children's accessories for major National accounts (Target, Carter's). 
•	Leads trend research projects and presentations.
•	Hands over projects and design initiatives to the internal design team.

•	Reviewed, commented and approves lab dips and bulk fabrics for color.
•	Identifies color issues and makes recommendations for solutions while ensuring that all color is commercially acceptable.
•	Responsible for handing over all artwork to mills and vendors.
•	Communicated all color and layout comments upon receipt of strike off. 
•	Assists Global Sourcing Specialists in costing by sending reference samples and communicating print and trim design requirements to vendors. 
•	Responsible for all communications related to color and trim approvals to Cabela's Hong Kong offices and overseas suppliers. 
•	Maintains all tracking of approved lab dips and bulk fabrics; also creates and maintains seasonal approval books. 
•	Ensured that all color MOQs were achieved.
•	Input all color and trim detail into product BOMs and communicated to the vendor.

Color Analyst

• Drove sales and profitability through proper merchandising and overall presentation of the Women's Department. 
• Ensured productivity goals are met while adhering to company defined best practices.

Visual Merchandiser

• Coordinated, developed, managed inventory, and delivered POP marketing and visual merchandising materials for both internal projects and the field. 
• Worked with Purchasing Department to obtain best pricing and timely delivery of POP materials. 
• Maintained current branded PPT templates and created meeting presentations. 
• Completed POP and Department updates, directives, and deadlines. 
• Consulted and made recommendations on POP item design. 
• Found new vendors and sourcing opportunities for New Era POP.
