Production Manager

Examples being Nike, Adidas, Target, Costco, H & M, Levi’s, The Children’s Place, Disney, Volcom, Big Lots, etc.
• Review analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department progress toward stated goals and objectives. Utilize this information to make daily business decisions around labor and production mix.
• Consult with company principles daily to discuss the status project production and delivery schedules, while maintaining and upholding the utmost quality of various country & Global standards. Example: Oeko-Tex certified, SGS-Iso certified, Wrap-certified, G7 color standard, etc..
• Coordinate with various foreign buying offices for sourcing materials and Maintain records for development of various sales samples and fabrics to test.
• Supervised working of employees and trained if required in work process.
• Administer and prepare list of all sales samples and prepare deliveries for sample tests when required.
• Monitor pre-production sample requests and update specifications whenever required.
• Develop final production specifications and send out to various factories.

Forecast and manage the selection of merchandise, product inventory integrity, meet Profit Margin goals, merchandise design & Fits, Business development, Assortment & Allocation, Client metrics and Team empowerment.
• Buy/Manage inventory accuracy for all locations through SKU management using Excel pivot tables and Retail POS (ie: Jr. Contemporary, RTW, Accessories, shoes, etc..).
• Collaborate with buy Team to facilitate the market efforts of new products, and development of promotional calendars, product launches, and employee incentive programs.
• Maintain open lines of communication between manufactures, sales teams, vendors, and warehousing personnel to expedite product orders, supply chain, replenishment, distribution, and problem resolutions.
• Analyze price breakdowns and OTB sales levels to determine product volume adjustments, replenishment's and allocations with a demonstrated proficiency in internal networking systems. 
• Negotiate buying costs, vendor margin support, landed & shipping costs and wholesale pricing resulting in increased sales of 18 % over previous year and improved gross margin 3.5% each year.
• Organized Specialty product design for certain holidays example: Costumed Bandeau’s and bottoms for Halloween 4th of July and New Year’s Eve.
• Registered and have contacts with all trade shows, Magic, Pool, Project, WSA, Agenda, FFANY, Cal Mart, Transit, Select and over 300 Jr. contemporary, RTW and Accessory companies.
• Hired, trained, supervised, motivated, evaluated and inspired buy team to effectively utilize full range of solutions, promote products, and ensure profits were met.

• Networked with more than 50 vendor contacts, which facilitated negotiation for the best prices for name brand and fast fashion merchandise. (ie: Jeffery Campbell, Madden Girl, Chinese Laundry, Jessica Simpson, Wanted, Dollhouse also; NIKE, Creative Recreation, TOMS, RipCurl, CONVERSE, Adidas, ASICS & VANS)
• Source new merchandise and review existing merchandise to primarily meet customer needs, continually research market trends, and fashion publications.
• Implemented appropriate buying strategies as per financial requirements and right product for time of year, Future & in stock ordering.
• Develop, execute, and track weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts and results for merchandising and product Categories (PL and market).
• Negotiate costs, set retail prices and manage profit margins within context of merchandising plan. 
• Re-cape all weekly sellouts for reorders and markdowns for over stock or slow moving items.
