I work in a location that has a lot of traffic and I deal with all walks of life. Working in a tourist community has taught me a lot about the variety of guests we see in a short period of time. On top of that, helping manage a store in a town where people come and go often, I have now seen the side of the retail industry with high turnover in employees. 

Provide leadership and help manage the store. Make decisions and solve problems. Train new employees and manage team performance. Help create new store layouts/displays.  Maintain quality service and satisfaction to all guests that visit our store.

Create floor plans, design store layout and placement in order to maximize sales. Keeping up-to-date on trends and how to make the surrounding environment aesthetically pleasing. Responsible for window, POS, and in-store displays while making inventory appear fresh at all times. Working with color theory and textures to make appealing visuals and dressing mannequins.

Visual Merchandiser

Regularly attend buying shows and meetings with representatives from corresponding companies. Placing orders for both soft and hard goods for company inventory and for the upcoming year.  Head of placing special orders for specific customer needs. Designing the store layout and placement. Working with customers to provide absolute satisfaction and create an engaging environment

Buyer

Providing customers with quick and efficient assistance. Commitment to quality and satisfaction. Aiding customers in sale placement, order tracking and adjustments. Excellent communication skills, and ability to accommodate customers in order to provide them with the highest level of service. Exceptionally proficient computer skills.
