Design Consultant

Responsible for developing new product concepts and daily coordination of sampling and production with China manufacturers. Worked closely with Global Sourcing Group in Hong Kong on creating and modifying product specifications, scheduling and sampling processes.  Product design involvement included hardware trim, notebook computer bags, backpacks, and iPad/E-reader cases for the Targus brand.  OEM or ODM customers included IBM, Dell, Toshiba, Sony, and Samsung.  Successfully identified new opportunities by researching the market fashion
trend, such as fabrication methodology, materials and color schemes selection.

- iPad cases sales reached 10MM at initial launch

Senior Product Designer

Designed products from concept to production using textiles, wood, and wiring.  Liaised with customers on a regular basis to develop concepts and prototypes with eventual mass production implementation.  Researched market trends in style, fashion, material, and color pallets.
