Inbound Tour Operator organizing safari and tour packages in Kenya and Tanzania; serving 1300 individual clients and 550 incentive clients and generating $1,300,000 in gross revenues annually.
	
Sales and Management
• Increased gross revenue an average of 49% annually from 2011 to 2013
• Developed strategic plan, vetted and hired 2 new representation offices in Scandinavia and the UAE that average annual gross sales of $330,000.
• Created niche itineraries and networked with relevant travel agents.  These itineraries produce sales of over $100,000 annually.
• Coordinate sales efforts with our representation offices in Scandinavia, India, and the UAE
• Manage 3 reservation staff responsible for $1.3 million in gross sales annually.  Train reservations staff on the GranIT safari and tour database software.
• Produce the company’s annual tariff which includes all itineraries and pricing for the following calendar year.
• Produce nearly all of the company’s marketing material, including flyers, CDs, and brochures.  Created with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.
• Attended industry conferences and exhibitions in Spain and the UAE promoting the company, increasing awareness, and finalizing direct sales.
• Manage client relations and experience by leading groups of 150+ on safaris and tours in Kenya and Tanzania.
	
Social Media and Online Presence 
• Manage the company’s social media profile. Manage content and updates on Facebook, Twitter, Photobucket, the company’s blog, and relevant message boards.
• Coordinated with web designer to design the entire website.  Create all online content and coordinate with our SEO marketing firm to improve the site’s ranking.  Have initiated campaigns using Google Adwords and Facebook Advertising.
• Produce the 4 unique bi-weekly newsletters (MailChimp) that reach our network of over 5400 worldwide travel agents and tour operators.
• Increased web-generated gross sales from $5,000 to over $60,000 annually.

Mobile-ordering startup founded in 2009 that allowed sports fans in arenas to order concessions and merchandise from their seat using their smart phone.  FanGo was part of the Chicago-based Excelerate Labs incubator in 2010 and was acquired by GrubHub Inc.

• Successfully managed and lead a 3-person team, which generated over 140 sales prospects, increased sales by 600%, and expanded operations into 5 new facilities.
• Increased mobile-ordering sales from less than $500 to over $25,000 at Rupp Arena (the US’s largest and highest capacity arena designed specifically for basketball)
• Secured FanGo's first marketing contract with a multi-million dollar sports facility.
• Managed operations at the first 2 arena contracts, working with our IT staff to further develop the product and with local food service staff to ensure a seamless order-to-delivery process.
• Created the database of potential clients and developed the sales pitch for new clients

Director of Marketing

FAST represents lenders and agricultural producers dedicated to reducing commercial financing barriers between agricultural cooperatives and banks and to bring sustainable projects to market.

• Spearheaded business and strategic planning to establish a regional headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya
• Coordinated project activities for comprehensive implementation plans with the government, commercial banks, farming organizations and local cooperatives.
• Found office space and interviewed potential employees.  Performed feasibility study analyzing costs vs impact of the new office and compiled an approximate budget for the office.
